A Step Back in Time,
Established in 2012
Diner 50 opened its doors in 2012 with one simple mission: bring the happy days of the 1950s back to Phoenix, one plate of pancakes at a time.
Everything here is a love letter to the era. The black-and-white checkered floors. The vintage jukeboxes, radios, and rotary telephones. The retro refrigerator and stove. The vinyl records lining the countertops and walls. Every corner is filled with time-appropriate mementos, so a meal at Diner 50 reads like a step back in time.
But the retro spirit isn’t just in the decor. It’s in the kitchen, too. Our menu is a throwback to when food was made from scratch and portions were generous. Real buttermilk pancakes. Farm-fresh, cage-free eggs. Chilaquiles people cross town for. Handmade milkshakes made with genuine Thrifty ice cream.
Our slogan says it all: WE WILL ROCK AND ROLL YOUR TASTEBUDS.
